Latina Women Equal Pay Day Awareness Event

We are excited to cohost the Latina Women Equal Pay Day Awareness Event with the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh.

As you may know, Latina women make only $0.54 to every $1 made by white non-Hispanic men. Our mission is to unite, raise awareness, and push for the structural changes needed to close this gap.

This event is especially important during Hispanic Heritage Month, as we celebrate the contributions and achievements of Latinx/Hispanic individuals and communities. We believe that achieving pay equity for Latina women is a critical part of advancing equity and justice for all.

You'll hear from Latina women who have been directly impacted by the pay gap and learn about ways to get involved in the Level Up Pay Equity Campaign. The event will feature a lineup of inspiring speakers including:

• Rochelle Jackson, Founder & Director of Black Women’s Policy Center, 
• Dr. Angela Reynolds, CEO of YWCA Greater Pittsburgh
• Camila Rivera-Tinsley, CEO of Women and Girls Foundation
