Join us on Zoom with Faith Collins from the Southwest PA Procurement Technical Center and Steven Murray International Trade specialist from the US Department of Commerce International Trade Commission to learn about this important topic!

The government contracting and intentional market can overwhelm a company that does not have the maturity, understanding or resources to meet requirements. Faith and Steven will help you determine if your company is ready for these opportunities and how to best position yourself to succeed.

ITA is organized into three primary business units working to improve the global business environment and help U.S. businesses to learn how to work and compete at home and abroad. Steven will walk us through an essential international business toolkit of practical exporting advice and business tools developed for you by trade professionals  

Faith will introduce the PTAC , give an overview of the government marketplace, how to get started in the government marketplace, and small business certifications that help. SPC helps counties, cities, municipalities and businesses access more than $35 billion state and federal transportation and economic development funds allocated to the region through 2045.

This webinar is FREE & open to and appropriate for any minority owned business.

Both the SPC and the ITA are strong partners with our national organization the NGLCC and work with certified vendors. Faith will  review the NGLCC certification process for becoming a certified minority business entity through 3RBA. This will aid in securing preferred vendor and government contracts

Eligibility for MBE certifications: Be at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned, operated, managed, and controlled by a minority and persons who are either U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
