Digital skills classes will be taught at The University Club of Pittsburgh. In between sessions, Facebook Business Help Desks will be available for live 1:1 assistance on Facebook Pages, Ads Manager, Instagram and more! September 5: Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff (Clemente Day)

The event will take place at Verdetto's Bar & Restaurant where the new Roberto Clemente Mural has been painted. Attendees include Manny Sanguillén, Grant Jackson, Roberto Clemente Jr., The Clemente Family, Mayor Bill Peduto & More! There will be many prizes to be won including airline tickets, autographed sports gear, hotel stays and more!

In addition, tickets to the Pittsburgh Pirates game will be available at a discounted rate for attendees and other PMAHCC friends. A small donation will be made to the PMAHCC scholarship fund for each Pirates ticket sold. All proceeds from this event benefit the scholarship fund!

Are you interested in mentoring a team of freshman students in the School of Business this fall? Your role, as a mentor, would be to guide a team through the process of developing a solution, researching its feasibility and creating a final presentation discussing the implementation of this solution. All 300+ incoming freshman will take this class and the winning teams have a chance to earn scholarship money.

2018 Vibrant Pittsburgh/Urban Affairs Foundation is accepting Mini Grants. This year’s theme is Language Access through the Use of Technology. Language access describes ways in which your organization will help to bridge the communication barrier for people who cannot speak, understand, hear, read or write English fluently or proficiently. We encourage community groups and non-profits to apply and consider how they can use technology to make our region's resources more accessible to all.

City Council voted to PASS the "RIV" legislation to update Pittsburgh's riverfront zoning. After an almost two-year public process led by City Planning that involved community meetings, feedback from hundreds of riverfront businesses, neighborhood residents and stakeholders, the RIV is approved!
