About the Business Success Academy (BSA)

An initiative of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the CE Leadership Group, the goal of this program is to

provide professional and business development training to empower entrepreneurs and business owners to weather the uncertainties of the coronavirus pandemic and develop a renewed resiliency for the future and thereby strengthening the local Hispanic community and the region at large. The program is designed to grow critical professional and business skills needed to improve leadership and get work done faster, better and at a lower cost ; in all aspects of human interaction both in business and professional contexts thereby increasing overall professional performance, productivity and success.

Full Scholarships are now available for both PMAHCC and Non-PMAHCC businesses thanks to a generous grant from the Hillman Family Foundation.

PROGRAM Value: $3,750 per person

Application to Everyday Work

This curriculum is designed to generate permanent development in the participants. Content and exercises are designed to equip participants with the tools to achieve bothe their own performance goals as well as the mission of their businesses by:

  • Making outstanding contributions in their field of work
  • Developing ingenuity, creativity and uniqueness of approach in their daily work
  • Creating improvements in the quality and quantity 
  • Providing the right leadership for developing and improving programs, projects, systems and procedures to increase productivity, improve service and reduce operational cost
  • Effectively achieving organizational goals and objectives
  • Increasing the overall efficiency of their business and office operations

Program Structure

The cohort will participate in:

  • 7 Modules + 1 Graduation Ceremony

  • Twice a month during 4 consecutive months

  • Training mode: The program uses an On-Line format with the capacity to be adjusted and delivered in-person later in the year with the locations TBD according to the Chamber needs.

  • Participating businesses will receive Marketing or Financial Consulting Services at no additional Cost

  • Businesses will receive a video to utilize for marketing purposes following the conclusion of the program

  • Businesses may receive financial compensation for participation through the  WedNet Grant
