October 15th, 2019 (PITTSBURGH, PA)  Acrobatique Creative and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to bring the second annual Día de los Muertos celebration to Pittsburgh. On Friday, November 1st, beginning at 6PM at Market Street Event Space above the Market Street Grocery on the second and third floor, guests are invited to enjoy an evening filled with themed cuisine, live entertainment and cocktails in celebration of the ancient tradition.

The annual soirée will unite attendees with a hand-crafted Raise a Spirit to the Spirit Toast at 9P to celebrate the growth of a city, culture and people. In addition to uniting the community, a percentage of the proceeds will aid the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation Scholarship Fund. This initiative is aimed to provide academic scholarships to deserving local Hispanic students for trade, college, and graduate school. Donations will also be accepted at the event.

"Día de los Muertos is traditionally a Mexican celebration, but here in Pittsburgh, the Hispanic Community is uniting to celebrate all Hispanic Heritage as one community unidos to support scholarships for the next generation of Latino Leaders,” said Carmen O.
